I love my Hamilton Beach counter top convection oven. It’s definitely on my top 5 favorite, most used kitchen tools!
Back in 2006, my husband surprised me with the oven as a Christmas gift. It was shortly after we moved into our current home and I was rediscovering my love of cooking. Initially, I was hesitant about the Hamilton Beach brand but after reading the reviews on Amazon, I decided to keep the oven. When and/or if this one dies, I will definitely consider purchasing the same oven again!
There’s two heavy duty adjustable racks, and a bottom tray that pulls out for easy cleaning. The oven is large enough to easily fit my 2 qt cast iron covered pot, but small enough to fit nicely on the counter in a corner. Yeah, it’s definitely larger than most “toaster ovens” but I rather sacrifice the counter space for more space for my larger pots.
I very rarely have to use my larger oven. Everything I need to do can be done in the Hamilton Beach oven. I’ve baked bread, braised beef, cooked rice & oatmeal, baked chicken & fish, broiled burgers, and baked pizza. I have even cooked on both racks, depending on how large the pans are. I use it almost daily, and it’s held up wonderfully over the years.
Yes, it’s got baked-on splatter stains on the back panel, and the glass door is stained as well, but those battle scars only show how much I adore and use this oven!
Mine included a broiler/roasting tray pan, pizza pan, small baking tray, with two heavy duty adjustable racks. Looking at the description at Amazon, I am not sure if it still includes the extra pans.
The oven also includes a rotisserie feature, but I admit we’ve never used it. We have an outdoor Weber grill so my husband does rotisserie on the grill. Someday, I should try it though.
